Yours Retro is a magazine aimed at telling stories of the Entertainment industry throughout the 20th century, as well as providing news and updates on stars from that time in the current day.
The objective of this project was to redesign a pre-existing magazine and make more appealing spreads for readers. Through this there was a focus on imagery and how it interacts with the text in order to mimick that of older magazines. There was also a large shift to minimize the amount of information taken in by the eye on each page to create better legibility for readers.

The openings to articles are made to look bold and have an emphasis on the celebrity being written about.

Spreads from the same article were made to look alike in order to differ the tones and separate media, a concept that was lacking in the original design.
