These posters were a project Madison was given to create her own movie concepts, and through that provide an adequate poster to illustrate the film. Though only one poster was requested, Madison chose to go above and beyond to create two separate ideas, Lost Art and Where We Left The Sun.
Lost Art is a film where an intergalactic race accidentally drops pieces of art onto the surface of the earth. One of which is found by an average Joe who lives in the middle of nowhere. This forms a full scale investigation not only by the government, but also the aliens who lost it in the first place. The poster itself was meant to be reminiscent of vintage sci-fi film posters with its bold text and pasted imagery, but also appear timeless with its use of color and mystery.
Where We Left The Sun is a film that follows a group of people through their experience and torment as the Earth has drifted off its regular gravitational course, and slowly moves further from the sun. This drives the ecosystem to become dark and cold, wondering if human survival is even possible. The poster was made to look empty and dark to reflect the state of the Earth in this film.
